In today’s modern world, smartphones have become the easiest way to access the internet and play games online. Since most people carry their phones with them at all times, mobile casinos are fast becoming the most popular way to access real money casino games. For iPhone users, playing casino games can be fun and extremely rewarding. Mobile casinos offer players a massive range of games in every shape and form. One of the most popular mobile casino games at the moment is iPhone Farkle. Also known as Zonk, Hot Dice or Buzzball, this fast paced dice game can be played online for free or for real money.

How Farkle Works

The traditional game of Farkle is played with two players who compete against each other. With iPhone Farkle, players compete against the computer where bets are placed on each round. Farkle is a dice game that uses 6 dice. The dice are thrown onto a table and points are calculated based on the numbers that are displayed. In the mobile version of the game, the game begins with the player placing his or her bet. Once the bet has been placed, the computer will start the game by throwing 6 dice out of a virtual cup.

Starting the Game

The aim of iPhone Farkle is to be the first player to accumulate 10 000 points. Once the first roll has been made, the player can start collecting their points. In Farkle, not every throw will earn points. The player starts out with six dice and after each throw must discard one dice. An ideal hand is 6 throws with each throw adding point to the total. At the end of their turn, the computer will total up the player’s points for that round. The computer will then carry on and try and get as many points as possible before its turn has come to an end.

Building your Points

In a game of iPhone Farkle, there are many ways to score points. The only two dice that score points for an individual number is the 1 and the 5. A single 1 will earn the player 100 points and a 5 will score 50 points. The only other way to score points is to make dice combinations of doubles, triples, 4 or a kind, 5 of a kind or 6 of a kind. If a player manages to roll 6 of the same number on their first roll, this is called hot dice and they bank their points and start their turn again.

High Scoring Dice

In iPhone Farkle, if a player throws a dice combination where no points can be made, they are Farkled and they lose all their accumulated points for that round. The player also forfeits their turn and the opponent or computer will take over. It is therefore sometimes better to bank your points if you score big on your second or third roll. Some of the highest scoring combinations are achieved from a straight (1-6) or six of kind with six 1’s scoring the maximum 4000 points. At any time during your turn, players can bank their points and pass the turn over to the computer.
